DEADLY LIES ABOUT HEALTH
Why Is Cancer on the Rise and Does Health Advice Fail?
An increasing number of people are developing cancer. According to 2020 data from the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), cancer is the number one cause of death. Other prosperity diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity, are also on the rise. This development with the corresponding demand for help is causing healthcare to become unaffordable.
Since US President Richard Nixon declared war on cancer in 1971, trillions of dollars and euros have been spent on cancer research. Such research is extremely expensive. For example, between May and July 2022, the Dutch Cancer Society KWF alone funded a series of studies for more than 27 million euros. That war on cancer has been on the road for more than 50 years now, but as you can see from the chart below, the chosen strategy is not working.
Mortality from cancer has overtaken that from cardiovascular disease. Apparently, the underlying hypotheses for both research and treatment are flawed. The preferred treatments for cancer include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Each is a risky venture with questionable results. The results of chemotherapy are especially sad. It is possible to grow old with cancer. As documented in the book Deadly Lies: How Doctors and Patients Are Deceived that possibility is almost non-existent with chemotherapy.
Cancer treatments are particularly lucrative for the pharmaceutical industry. Considering that 80% of drug research is funded by that industry, there will be no change in current forms of therapy any time soon. Unless something in medical thinking changes, and at some point, that will have to happen.
Deception and Cancer
Deadly Lies: How Doctors and Patients Are Deceived explains why cancer is becoming more common, while sanctioned treatments for it are largely failing. The book also suggests several alternative solutions worth exploring. The book describes conflicts of interest that cause policymakers, doctors, and advisory committees to come up with sometimes incomprehensible health advice that may promote disease and even cancer. Much of this has to do with the manipulation of medical training causing our doctors to have no knowledge of nutrition and be primarily focused on treating symptoms with pharmaceuticals.
Abuses with dire consequences
Media reports of abuses in the healthcare and food industry appear regularly. Guidelines for nutrition or health sometimes turn out to be incorrect. Take, for example, the recommended amounts for vitamins and minerals (too low) and the thresholds for toxins (too high). Why are toxic substances allowed in food or consumer products at all? With such recommendations, it is no wonder that prosperity diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes are so common.
Scientists and Doctors for Sale
Scientists and even physicians appear to be for sale and are successfully used as marketing tools. In the Netherlands, virologist Ab Osterhaus’ scandalous advice for swine flu vaccines is highly notorious. The resulting cost to the Dutch State could reach as much as 700 million euros as a result. Not only were these vaccines untested and therefore a potential health hazard, they were prohibitively expensive as newly patented drugs and, as it turned out, completely unnecessary. Did you know that Osterhaus is affiliated with an industry-sponsored organization that seeks a 75% vaccination rate for the elderly?
It gets worse when foods or additives and pesticides (for example, glyphosate) are allowed on the market where (animal) research shows they may cause cancer. At a minimum, there should be long-term studies on the effects on people, but this need is being dismissed by parties who should know better. The European food watchdog EFSA (and in the US, the FDA) advises on these matters through panels, but as you can read in Deadly Lies: How Doctors and Patients Are Deceived, these panels include conflict of interest scientists. As a result, opinions and recommendations often fall in favor of the industry.
Evidence-based Medicine: No Room for Financially Uninteresting Cancer Therapies
Your physician has received one-sided, pharmaceutically-oriented training and continuing medical education. Evidence-based Medicine (EBM) is the magic word these days, but EBM is elitist and reserved only for the pharmaceutical industry which can afford the relevant clinical research. For working cancer therapies with little monetary gain, this is not an option. After all, there are simply no parties interested in funding the expensive research. Due to the lack of clinical research, such therapies will not receive attention within the medical model or, worse, will be labeled ‘unscientific.’
The book Deadly Lies: How Doctors and Patients Are Deceived shows where the deceit and lies come from and the impact they have on you and your family.

What about a link between cancer and what we eat? And especially with harmful additives (even if they are approved, such as some of the substances with e-numbers in Europe) and pesticides in our food? What about genetically modified crops—do they have any adverse effects on your health or the development of cancer? And what factors determine whether or not you are and remain healthy and can prevent you from developing all sorts of ‘subclinical’ symptoms (you don’t feel fit, but your doctor declares you healthy)?
